Color Modes Test

Same data encoded in three different color modes: Monochrome, Grayscale, and Chromatic.

What This Tests

Scanner's ability to detect and differentiate between color modes, and correctly decode data from each. All three marks contain the same payload but use different visual encoding.

Monochrome Mark

Monochrome

Black only • 6-8 bits/spoke

Grayscale Mark

Grayscale

3 gray levels • 8-10 bits/spoke

Chromatic Mark

Chromatic

20 colors • 12-14 bits/spoke

Color Mode Capacity

Monochrome: Amplitude + Frequency + Phase encoding

Grayscale: Adds gray level channel for additional data

Chromatic: Full 5-dimension encoding with Hue + Saturation
